Hershey’s Spread Review

I was one of the lucky people to be chosen to try Hershey's Spread from Crowdtap before it was even out in stores. However, there was a long delay in shipping, due to the holidays and weather. So I actually got it after it had already hit the shelves.

There are 3 flavors available for this spread. The flavors are Hershey's Chocolate Spread, Hershey's Chocolate with Almond, and Hershey's Chocolate with Hazelnut. I received the Chocolate Hershey's Spread. I really want to try the almonds and chocolate one too because I love chocolate and almonds. It sounds so yummy!

The first thing I did was taste it with a spoon. I know....I know but I had too. I wanted to know what it tasted like all by its self. I was not disappointed either. It tastes very chocolaty and rich. It is thick but also creamy. It spreads quite easily when using a butter knife on toast and crackers. However, it was more difficult when trying to spread it on fruit. It got a little messy too, but that's to be expected. I had to wash my hands a lot when I was trying to take pictures of the different foods I tasted with this spread. I also found it was harder to use this spread as a dip because it is so thick. So it was best for me to use a butter knife when trying to spread this, especially on moist or wet types of food, such as bananas, apples, and oranges. It is easier to spread on dry foods, such as crackers and toast with a butter knife. Either way though, it tasted good on everything I tried it on.

I really didn't think it would taste that good on crackers but I was so wrong. The saltiness of the cracker and the sweetness of Hershey's Chocolate Spread was a perfect combination. The snacks were delicious. My favorite were the fruit though. Maybe that's just because I have always loved chocolate and fruit together. I'm not sure but I thoroughly enjoyed this product with fruit.

I also put a banana slice with Hershey's spread on top of a Townhouse cracker and I loved it. I thought it was really good. Again, I was expecting to NOT like this combination but I actually did like it. I was pleasantly pleased. There are a whole bunch of different pairings that can be done with Hershey's Spread. I tried it with apples, bananas, oranges, crackers, and even carrots. I didn't have celery or I would have tried that too. I loved all these combinations, even the carrots. It was nice and crunchy with a chocolaty flavor. I think kids would really like this on some of the vegetables that they don't like to eat. I did discover that I could only eat a small amount of this at one time because it is rich and chocolaty. It can feel like you've been eating too much candy, if  you over do it. What's great though, is if you want something sweet but don't want to go to the store, you can just take a spoonful of this and savor it slowly and your sweet tooth will probably be gone. It worked for me. :) You can also easily spice up your boring snacks by just adding a little bit of Hershey's spread to whatever your eating and it will make a huge difference in a delicious way. I think Hershey's Chocolate spread is a wonderful treat and is great for using with snacks.

There are still other recipes and foods that I have not had a chance to try yet, with Hershey's Spread. I can't wait to try this on more foods. I am even thinking about possible baking that I could use this spread in.

Try the Cottonelle Clean Care Routine!

I was so excited to be part of this Cottonelle Clean Care routine sample and share. I personally used Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Wipes before I joined this sample and share. I already had great things to say about their wipes but now I get to share some with my friends.

Cottonelle has made some good points in their commercials too, like you wouldn't want to shower without water so why would you want to wipe with toilet paper alone. Another example is, using toilet paper without moist wipes is like washing your car without water. They have some really funny commercials I laugh everytime I watch these ads. We all want to be clean after we use the restroom, especially if we went number 2. Well dry wiping with toilet paper only doesn't get us as clean as most people would like to be. However, it often isn't something most people think about. So Cottonelle is trying to raise everyone's awareness to the fact that without most wipes you are just dry wiping.

Since I've been using the Cottonelle Clean Care routine, I couldn't imagine going back to toilet paper alone. It makes sense to me now that I wasn't getting as clean as I thought I was when I used only toilet paper. I love the feeling of being completely clean and fresh right after I use the restroom with Cottonelle toilet paper and Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Wipes.  It's almost like a mini shower but for your most intimate and private parts. I have no doubt afterwards that I am completely clean.

 I highly recommend Cottonelle Clean Care routine. I will never go back to toilet paper alone.

My "America's Next Top Wooliteer" Party

I was given an exclusive opportunity to host the "America's Next Top Wooliteer" Party from Crowdtap and Woolite. I was very excited. This party was to celebrate Woolite's Extra Dark Care detergent made specifically for dark clothing and denim. Woolite's Extra Dark Care, will not stretch, fade, or shrink your dark clothing and denim, making them last even longer. I had just found out about this detergent a month or so before I was offered this party and had not tried this specific Woolite product before. I thought it would be great if it actually cleaned your clothing without any harsh chemicals that can hurt the longevity of your clothes, like many other detergents have. It is still the normal gentle Woolite that were all used to but it's made specifically for our dark clothing and jeans. I thought how cool is this. I had to try it now. (More about my results later.)

MY PARTY KIT

This is the party kit, which was delivered to my house. The focus of my party was "Don't Torture Your Jeans. Long Live Your Jeans!" from the popular new Woolite ads on YouTube. 

One ad is directed by Rob Zombie and is excellent. I actually thought it was a trailer for a horror film, when I first watched it. It's awesome, very unique and creative.

I think the hardest part about this party has been choosing the pictures to upload because I had so many. LOL. I also had rearranged this display several times trying to get it just perfect.

 Everyone absolutely loved this Woolite denim bag! We played a trivia game with the cards that that Woolite had sent us. We decided that the winner would win this cool bag. The competition was on now. He he. That was a lot of fun.

These are the samples that everyone was given. They included information about Woolite Extra Dark Care, a sample, and a coupon for their next purchase. Yay!.

I had asked my guests to try and bring a pair of their favorite jeans to talk about for the party. Here are a couple who did not mind me taking a picture of them. Not everyone wanted a picture taken.

This lovely lady already uses Woolite on her work clothes and delicate's. However, she did not know there's a Woolite for her darks and jeans that will make them last even longer. She really liked the idea of a gentle detergent for her jeans and dark clothing.

This gentlemen had learned the hard way by ruining one of his wife's outfits when he "tried to do her laundry." Of coarse, he did not use Woolite. I think he learned his lesson. He he.

I was working hard trying to answer the Woolite trivia questions. Some were very hard too!

Making Our Own Slogans

We had fun trying to make our own slogans for Woolite's Extra Dark Care detergent. This activity was a lot of fun too

The second one is my favorite. I love the picture of all the different jeans hanging on a line. One of them is some box shorts with flowers on them. That had me cracking up a lot. :)

UH-OH! SOMEONE WAS LATE!

This guest was in such a hurry to get to the party that she left her house in curlers. We all thought it was hilarious and I couldn't resist taking a picture (for proof). He he. She finished getting ready at the party.

This party was a lot of fun. We played the Woolite trivia game and learned a lot of new information. We talked about our favorite denim clothing and all the different things we each do, in hopes of preserving them for as long as possible. We even discussed our "horror" moments when a favorite article of clothing was ruined in the wash. Boy did we have a lot of those moments! We all have our favorite denim clothing that we absolutely love. So it was a topic that was easy and fun to talk about. We learned a lot about Woolite's Extra Dark Care detergent and how it won't hurt our favorite clothing and will help them last a lot longer then if we used regular detergent. It has no harsh chemicals that would hurt your clothing or cause them to fade, shrink, tear, etc. in the wash.

There were a couple guests that actually came the next day because they could not make it for the party day. This was fine though because I wasn't doing anything and would be home. I was able to visit with them and tell them about Woolite Extra Dark Care. They also received there samples.

Any excuse to have a party is awesome to me. I love having get togethers' and enjoy the laughter and fun I always have. Thanks so much for this awesome opportunity Crowdtap and Woolite! We had fun and learned a lot about saving our clothes! DON'T TORTURE YOUR JEANS. LONG LIVE YOUR JEANS!!

OLD NAVY'S "SAMPLE AND SHARE"
